Walk Worthy in Christ

Welcome and Purpose of Website

Welcome to Gospel of Grace Notes (gospelofgracenotes.org), a website devoted to sharing Bible study materials centered on the gospel of the grace of God.

My name is Dick Johnson. This website is a tool to share Bible studies that I have developed during the course of teaching home-based Bible study groups over many years. My studies are based on the gospel of the grace of God as revealed to us through the Apostle Paul, which is centered on the accomplishment at the cross by our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ.

The studies provided in this website are not copyrighted, so feel free to download them and use them as you desire. If you don’t have a means to print them out, let me know and I will gladly send paper copies to you free of charge (you can make as many copies as you wish). I pray that you will find them to be helpful. I only ask that if you modify the content that you remove my name from the study.

This website is not a forum for discussing or debating the content of my studies online. I have always endeavored to teach the word of God accurately, using verses and passages in their proper context. However, I don’t presume to know everything and I’m convinced that there is much more that I don’t know than I do know. I realize, also, that there might be unintentional doctrinal errors in my studies (besides typographical and grammatical errors that I missed) for which I take full responsibility. My desire is that my studies are used by God and His Holy Spirit to help the reader gain further understanding of the word of God and how He wants us to live each day. If you disagree with me, that is OK—I only ask that you check it out and base your own conclusions on sound Bible doctrine (instead of on church doctrine or tradition).

All Scripture is inspired by God and is profitable for teaching, for reproof, for correction, for training in righteousness; so that the man of God may be adequate, equipped for every good work. (II Timothy 3:16-17)

Be diligent to present yourself approved of God as a workman who does not need to be ashamed, accurately handling [rightly dividing] the word of truth. (II Timothy 2:15)

But I [Paul] do not consider my life of any account as dear to myself, so that I may finish my course and the ministry which I received from the Lord Jesus, to testify solemnly of the gospel of the grace of God. (Acts 20:24)
